Yash Raj Films Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is simply a love story. Kush Agnihotri (Imran Khan) works as assistant director in Bollywood. His older brother, Luv Agnihotri (Ali Zafar) has a job in London. Luv just had a break from his girlfriend of several years, Piyali (Tara D'Souza). Luv Kush phones, asking bride-hunting for him. He believes that his younger brother would be able to find a girl of taste, like the two brothers have similar tastes. Kush starts now hunting for a duhlan for his brother. After several unsuccessful attempts, he finally meets dimple Dixit (Katrina Kaif), daughter of a bureaucrat (Kanwaljeet), when his father invited Kush in response to an advertisement for marital Luv. Kush is shocked to meet dimple as he is known as a wild girl, fun-loving, daring but endearing that he had met there a tour of five years. The two families also approve the bond and so preparations for the wedding and dimpled Luv seriously consider right. While living in Dehradun Agnihotri, marriage is expected to be held in Delhi where Dixit stay. As part of the preparation, pit and fall in love with a Kush than anything, is a dimple makes the first day, she is dating Luv when it arrives in Delhi to London for the wedding. Dimple Kush speaks his heart that takes a little longer to realize that it is too in love with her.
